Cardiff University invites applications for 2010/11 postgraduate studentships funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).

These Doctoral and Master’s Studentships are available from Cardiff University’s AHRC Block Grant Partnership (BGP) award.  In awarding a BGP to Cardiff University, the AHRC recognised that we provide our postgraduates in the Humanities with ‘excellent training and supervision’.

Funding and Eligibility

AHRC postgraduate studentships provide full-awards for part-time or full-time study (UK/EU tuition fees plus a maintenance stipend at nationally-agreed levels) to UK and EU candidates who meet UK residency criteria; other EU candidates may be eligible for a fees-only award. Applicants must have gained an undergraduate degree from a recognised university, or be a current undergraduate expecting to graduate before 31 July 2010. Those applying for a doctoral award should normally have, or be studying for, a Master’s degree.
